Are the winds good in GC in November? I am trying to maximize my chances of getting on the water so want to come down the right month. From what I can tell using windguru it appears November is pretty good.
Yeah for sure. November is the start of the windy season here in Cayman. The season runs from November through to April each year. Usually the last week of October the winds kick in and we get a really good start to the season with winds around 20 knots.
The best place to stay on island would be out at East End as the winds generally come from the NE at this time of year. Resorts out there are Morritts (http://www.morritts.com) and The Reef (www.thereef.com). You can rent equipment from either White Sands Watersports (The Reef) or at Red Sail Sports (Morritts).
